The context

Start with what DoorLoop and TenantPoint are built for.

DoorLoop is one of the few property management platforms that publishes real pricing—credit where it's due. Its Starter plan lists at $99/month (promotional $69/month) billed annually for up to 10 units, moving to a published per-unit rate above that.

It's also built as a general residential-and-commercial platform. Commercial-specific work—CAM/NNN reconciliation with caps, pools, and allocation rules; lease abstraction with source-linked, human-approved terms—isn't its primary design center the way it is TenantPoint's.

One detail matters for a commercial owner comparing prices: on DoorLoop's own pricing page, CAM reconciliation is listed under the Premium plan only ($209/month billed annually, $239/month monthly). So the like-for-like comparison for someone who needs CAM isn't DoorLoop Starter versus TenantPoint Starter—it's DoorLoop Premium versus TenantPoint Owner ($82.50–$99/month), which includes CAM reconciliation, tenant communications, and live banking.

Which platform fits

Neither of these is the right answer for every owner.

Who TenantPoint is for

TenantPoint is probably right for you if…

  • CAM reconciliation and lease-term tracking are the daily pain, not just rent collection—and you'd rather not pay for DoorLoop's Premium tier to get it.
  • Your portfolio is a handful of commercial properties, not a large mixed residential book counted by unit.
  • You want AI-assisted lease abstraction with a required human-approval step before anything activates.

Where DoorLoop is stronger

To be fair to DoorLoop…

  • DoorLoop already collects rent online and has native iOS/Android apps—both real gaps in TenantPoint today.
  • If your portfolio is residential-heavy or mixed with commercial, DoorLoop's broader scope may fit better than a commercial-only tool.
  • DoorLoop's per-unit pricing can work out cheaper than TenantPoint's per-property pricing for a portfolio with many small units per property—run your own numbers.
Source note

DoorLoop's plan prices, unit limits, per-unit rate, and the Premium-only placement of CAM reconciliation were checked directly against doorloop.com/pricing on September 27, 2026; trial terms are corroborated by independent review sources, not DoorLoop's own pricing page directly. Confirm current terms before purchasing.
